AIP Pear and Cranberry Jam

I walked into the kitchen this afternoon and wondered what I should make! Then it hit me like a ton of bricks...JAM!! All of a sudden I craved the warm, chunky, and tart goodness that comes with melting fruit into a pulp! There was no stopping me!

It made the house smell UH-MAZING!! And, it was approved by every member of the family, including the dog :) The texture is nice and chunky, so if you want it smoother, you could use an immersion blender or something of that sort!

AIP Pear and Cranberry Jam
  • 1/2 cup of Orange Juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
  • 6 Pears (diced)
  • 2 cups of Frozen Cranberries
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Sugar
  1. Dice the pears and put them in a medium size pan along with the cranberries, coconut sugar, and orange juice.
  2. Simmer on medium heat for 18 minutes, stirring every 2-3 minutes.
  3. Use a potato masher to mash the fruit into the preferred consistency.
  4. Thats it! Let cool and enjoy!
